Bonnie Blue Cap – Lone Star Caps
– Beautiful Blue 1 Star Cap just like the Bonnie Blue Flag!
The Bonnie Blue is also known as the “Lone Star Flag”
Check out our Bonnie Blue Flag Cap—a nod to Southern history that’s both stylish and meaningful. The Bonnie Blue, or “Lone Star Flag,” first flew over the Republic of West Florida in 1810. This republic was created by folks in southern Alabama, Mississippi, and parts of Louisiana who stood up against Spanish rule and ousted the provincial Governor in Baton Rouge.
The flag’s story continued in 1839 during Texas’ fight for freedom from Mexico. The Lone Star became Texas’ official flag, a variation of the Bonnie Blue, showcasing its lasting importance. When Mississippi seceded from the Union during the War Between the States, the Bonnie Blue proudly became its official flag.
The flag wasn’t just a symbol—it had a catchy song named after it, making it as popular among Confederate soldiers as “Dixie.” The Bonnie Blue Flag was a pioneer as the first unofficial flag of the Southern States’ secessionist movement.
Wear our Bonnie Blue Flag Cap to embrace the spirit of history—a tribute to bravery and resilience that’s as cool as it is meaningful.
